Pursuing our objective to offer top-quality products to our customers, in 2006 we started to develop our rice production activity. Our rice fields are located in the region around Pazardzhik, which has centuries-old traditions in this agricultural activity. As a Bulgarian rice producer, we mainly grow medium-grain rice varieties typical of the Balkans region.
Our rice mill in the village of Kovachevo is equipped with modern machines and implements latest technologies in all its operations. Here we produce white rice, brown rice (cargo), polished rice (camolino), as well as our own innovation – Balance semi whole grain rice.

As a Bulgarian rice producer and as a result of over 25 years of hard work, we have achieved considerable success:
• We own over 900 hectares of paddy fields, which continue expanding.
• We have modern agricultural equipment.
• Around 23 000 tons of rice paddy pass through our rice processing plants on an annual basis.
• We boast of a team of more than 170 highly qualified specialists and partners from over 30 countries in Europe and Asia.

We, at SUICO, recognize the importance of nature-friendly agriculture and take due care of both the quality of our products and the environment.
In our rice fields, we use gravity irrigation, which does not require non-renewable energy sources. We ensure the required conditions for the preservation of local biodiversity - the flooded areas are a natural habitat for a number of fish and waterfowl species.

As a Bulgarian rice producer, we are extremely responsible for the protection of nature and sustainable production is our major priority.
The high-tech filters installed in our rice processing plants capture 92% of the fine dust particles emitted as a result of grinding rice grains.
Our new rice paddy dryers are provided with an advanced system for energy generation using the combustion of rice husks. Thus, we achieved a waste-free production powered by a renewable energy source.
